Kaiserslautern, Germany, 24 January 2022 – Shining 3D is honored to have been invited to participate in the conference “Possibilities and limits of digital impression” by Dr. Thomas Born, managing director and owner of the Born Zahntechnik dental technology company and organizer of the event that took place in Kaiserslautern, Germany.

The conference represented an important opportunity for dentists and dental professionals, including lectures from well-known opinion leader Dr. Ingo Baresel, the President of the German Society for Digital Oral Impressions (DGDOA), on the use of digital solutions and in particular intraoral scanners. Among the various topics, the conference led to: basic notions on intraoral scanning and the differences between scanners currently on the market, the possibilities in chairside and implantology that are obtained with the use of this technology, caries detection and aligner therapy with intraoral scanners.

The lineup of events was alternated by the opportunity to see and try first-hand these products, including Aoralscan 3, Shining 3D’s latest intraoral scanner. Visitors were able to participate in numerous live demonstrations and experience the best results this technology brings on the table.

Aoralscan 3 received impressive feedback from on-site audience confirming the reasons why this latest generation of intraoral scanner is very popular and is gaining ground in the global market: scanning speed proves to be an essential component of the Aoralscan 3 which has been drastically improved, up to 30% faster than the previous model thanks to a renewed scanning technology; as well as the accuracy of acquisitions and the overall more comfortable experience.

Dr. Ingo Baresel praised the true color display of Aoralscan 3 mentioning its  great potential on the compretitive market.
