  • 2004

    SHINING 3D was founded with a vision to advance high-precision 3D digital technologies and make them accessible to real-world applications.

  • 2005 - 2011

    Focused on high-precision industrial 3D scanning, strictly adhering to industrial metrology standards. This decade of R&D in complex industrial inspection laid the unparalleled foundation for our accuracy in dental applications.

  • 2012

    Expanded into digital dentistry with the release of our first dental D series lab scanners, marking a strategic step toward dental-specific digital solutions.

  • 2018

    Launch of the AccuFab-D1, SHINING 3D’s first dental 3D printer. This marked our transition from data acquisition to physical manufacturing, closing the loop on digital production.

  • 2019

    We released our first intraoral scanner, bringing our scanning technology from the laboratory bench to the chairside, directly empowering dentists.

  • 2021

    Launch of the Aoralscan 3, setting a new benchmark for scanning speed, accuracy, and processing capabilities.

  • 2023

    Launched the first dental face scanner MetiSmile, integrating facial data with intraoral scans to enable holistic "Smile Design". And our Aoralscan 3 Wireless won the prestigious Red Dot Award.

  • 2024

    Aoralscan Elite is the world’s first intraoral scanner with built-in intraoral photogrammetry (IPG). With this innovation, we solved the challenge of precision in full-arch implant cases, creating a 'two-in-one' solution for edentulous patients.

  • 2025

    The Jaw Motion Trajectory System was introduced to record true mandibular movement, shifting diagnostics from static models to dynamic occlusion. Furthermore, the release of our proprietary AI Design software marked the official completion of the comprehensive "Scan - Design - Print" solution, delivering a fully integrated workflow for clinics worldwide.
